ACTIVITIES
Reaching Out and Having Fun
FALL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
HOSA Week celebrates the involvement of members across the state, and the perfect way to start this first full week in November is by attending the Georgia HOSA Fall Leadership Conference. Through this conference, members have the opportunity to gain skills in leadership through several competitive events, sessions and workshops. Fall semester momentum peaks at FLC as members, advisors, and guests come together to celebrate their success and develop their leader within! In addition to the incredible leadership workshops, exhibitors, HOSA dance and exciting and inspiring general sessions, students will receive a HOSA t-shirt with their registration.
BLOOD DRIVES
During our blood drives, we consistently save over 200 lives with donations from faculty and students. In the spring of 2020, we won the county-wide Battle of the Blood with 100 pints of blood donated! We partner with LifeSouth and all donations go to the South Metro Atlanta area.
STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Seven months to pick the perfect competition, prepare the skill, and hone your craft, practice until it is second nature, and finally perform all that you have learned at this year’s State Leadership Conference. It is time when over 4,200 members, advisors, and guests flock towards Atlanta, Georgia to give it their all at this celebration of the end of another successful Georgia HOSA year. There is plenty to keep busy including educational symposiums, conference exhibitors, and workshops! Victors are medaled, officers are sworn in, and scholarships are presented during this conference busting at the seams with excitement. SLC is not just for the competitor; everyone is more than welcome to attend to see what makes Georgia’s State Leadership Conference the largest and best in the world!
